It was today 4 years ago that I had my Stem cell treatment in the Dominican Republic! Still can't believe that people raised £40,000 to get me there! All to try and save my little life!! The support from my family here and across the sea, my friends and complete strangers was overwhelming! Thank you from the bottom of my heart (you know who you are) me and my children will never forget x

Looks like I will be representing Team wythenshawe at next year's transplant games with the kids!! All sounds very exciting! Best get myself a little fitter
hoping to raise lots awareness of organ donation.
The British Transplant Games organised by Charity Transplant Sport is one of the largest annual multi-sports events in the United Kingdom and will be hosted in the Bolton region over four days and nights in August 2014.
The games will bring over 600 recipients of a life-saving organ transplant along with 2,000 of their supporters and deliver in excess of £2m economic boost to the region.
The publicity surrounding the Transplant Games not only demonstrates the benefits of successful organ transplantation, but highlights the desperate need for more people to sign on to the NHS Organ Donor Register.
There are many different ways in which you and organisations can support the Games.
Funds are needed to promote and stage the event and to support those athletes requiring financial assistance to attend. You may also be able to offer in-kind support, in which your organisation can contribute to the success of the Games and promote the NHS Organ Donor Register within your organisation.
We would be interested in sharing with you more details about the Games next year and how individuals and organisations can get involved to benefit not only the Games and the Charity but also their business and organisations through recognition and supply chains but above all help save lives.

Met Ryan Thomas (Jason Grimshaw from TV Soap Coronation street) & Adam Thomas ( Adam Barton from tv soap Emmerdale) at the Sunday fair in Adlington, Yey they listened to me and took a leaflet.
Kids dragged me on sea storm, it was funny, great seeing them laughing! I thought it was a small ride then it went really fast and backwards! Little dare devils I've got.
Got the Forms filled All ready to post off tomorrow, Only about 25 but better than nothing eh , Ok some said no but its their choice, just glad my donor said yes!x, Some I could talk too and some walked off. also encouraged by the amount of people who said they already were on the register. thanks to all those who took the time to register over the 2 days.

Well Miss Kerr is officially a little part of adlington carnival this year, I will be on the field on saturday and sunday trying to get people to join up to the organ donor register with my children. If you see me and your not on the register please come and sign up.
Well my feet are killing me! Really enjoyed adlington carnival this year, the parade was great, the field was really busy! Thank you to all those who joined the organ donor register today, was a bit disappointing when people said no, but I understand its completely there decision and it was a really hot day. Just wondered if one of their family members needed an organ would they say no thanks then??.

Well I did the assembly! Yey! Hope I was ok, although I thought I was a nervous wreck! Hope the children understood what we said! Was lovely to see them all taking their organ donation balloons home with them. also releasing some in the air.
