HospitalPosted by eric kerr Thu, September 13, 2012 19:41:32
Been to Wythenshawe Hospital today for a routine check up and test. Had a heart scan, Lung and Heart x-ray, Lung function test and Blood test. Dr Leonard was very impressed with my progress and pleased with condition of my heart so reduced the medication and encouraged me to go swimming and exercise more. things are looking up.
This time last year I was desperate to go on the transplant list, I'd really had enough! Couldn't bear to think about the future, or how i would manage to take brandon to see the secondary schools next year! But yet here I am a year from them, 2 shinny new lungs and I took brandon to st michaels on my own and walked around! Again a big thank you to my donor who made this possible.
